Sometimes the thing that bugs me the most about gardening is that it is messy, with things flopping hither and yon. Not these onions. These are precision, man.
They are so very neat. I remember my grandpa's garden was always just so. If only I inherited those genes from him. I did get some of my humor genes from him, so I guess I wouldn't trade that for a tidy garden.
