That's right, Oregonian. You keep telling yourself you are doing a good thing.

Self-congratulatory pablum like this pisses me off.  I'd love to know where all the grumblers like me hang out so we could gripe together.

Oh wait, it's probably the Internet.  I'm already here.

    Haha, I should start doing this for myself. I could write a whole post on my blog thanking myself for writing such a great blog. Every time I do a household chore, I'll announce, "Wow, thanks for doing such a great job washing those dishes" whether anyone else is there or not. It sounds very life-affirming.

    Excellent deployment of pablum! I am sorry it is still so annoying. You could start your own gripe group.
