Here's my first muslin before I sewed it together. Gertie had me trace the sewing lines in a contrast thread so I could get a better idea during my fitting process.
Time spent: tracing pattern, and cutting and sewing the muslin: 3 hours.

Whew - this might be why many people don't sew their own clothes these days. It takes a lot of focus and time, as it seems from your first few posts.
