Oooo, words in quotes that shouldn't be in quotes - one of my biggest grammatical pet peeves! However, not as big of a pet peeve as people who use apostrophes for words that are actually plural, i.e. piece's instead of pieces.
Ha ha. I wish you could join the grammar police. Wouldn't that be a fun premise for a kids book? They could go on secret missions to eradicate grammar errors all around their town. Hmmm...maybe I should work on that.
